Booking a course at the Clare Island Retreat Centre

You will then need to send a completed booking form (click here for a booking form in MS Word format or here for a PDF version), along with a non refundable 50 % deposit. We regret that we can no longer accept bookings without the accompanying completed booking form and payment. Deposit can be paid by cheque (in euros or Sterling), bank transfer (see below) or through Paypal (you can pay online with your credit card even if you don't have a Paypal account). The balance of the course fee must be paid on arrival at the centre.

Methods of payment

We accept cheques in Euros or Sterling (if you want to send a sterling cheque, please check with us first for current exchange rate). Cheques should be made payable to Ciara Cullen.
You can also pay us online through Paypal. To pay through Paypal (or by credit card), go to the Courses and prices page and click on the "Pay now" button for the course you want to book (make sure you click on the right course, or you might be charged the wrong amount). You will be taken to the Paypal site (be patient, this can be slow at time) and asked to make a 50% payment for that course. We regret that in order to cover the Paypal transction fees, we have to add a 5% surcharge on all Paypal payments.
Note that you don't need to create a account, you can just use your credit card to pay through Paypal. Note that we do not accept credit cards, if you want to pay by credit card, you must go through Paypal.
Do not make any payment until we have confirmed that there is room for you on the course!

You can also pay by bank transfer (in euros), directly into our bank account. Here are our bank details to use:

Please make sure that you accept all bank charges and that your name is mentioned on the transfer.
If you are paying by bank transfer, you must send us evidence (a copy of the receipt from your bank) together with the booking form.

IMPORTANT: A booking is not treated as confirmed until the booking form and payment have both been received. Once we have received both the booking form and your deposit, we will send a booking confirmation by email or, if you don't have an email address, by post.

Cancellations

For cancellations received in writing more than four weeks before the start of a course, the deposit will be retained. If you cancel with less than four weeks left to the start of a course, the entire fee is due.
We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation insurance, when you book a course. You can get travel insurance online from Essential travel insurance.
In case of cancellation by the organisers all monies paid will be promptly returned.
